The boiling furnace lining masonry is mainly divided into two parts: the wall and the vault
(1) Refractory brick wall masonry.
Before construction, the center line of the furnace chamber was measured with a theodolite, the foundation elevation was re-measured, and the elevation of the first layer of bricks on the furnace shell was indicated every 5 meters. Draw a layered line along the vertical direction as a reference for the masonry of the furnace bottom and furnace wall.
The brick joints of all brick masonry must be filled with adhesive (including the joints between the brick masonry and the steel shell and the joints between the brick layers) so that all the brick joints are filled without leaving gaps and holes. And regularly check whether the position of the masonry after masonry is accurate. For multi-storey brick masonry floors, the total thickness of the brick walls must be checked. The required thickness of the mortar joints is 2 mm (tolerance ± 1 mm) as much as possible.
A waterproof layer is provided between calcium silicate board, thermal insulation brick and thermal insulation refractory brick to prevent absorption of solidified water. The plastering base layer can be used to set up a waterproofing layer.
Expansion joints should be properly reserved. Ceramic fiber felt is pasted on one side of the brick masonry as an expansion joint to ensure the specified thickness of the expansion joint.
(2) Refractory brick spherical vault masonry.
The top of the boiling furnace is in the form of a refractory brick spherical dome. Before the refractory is constructed, the diameter of the furnace steel casing supporting the dust collector must be checked clockwise. For inspection, divide the circumference into 12 equal parts and check the circumference with a rope. The length of the rope must be equal to the diameter. If there is a defect, the housing manufacturer must be notified to fix the defect.
The mixing of refractory mud should be carried out in strict accordance with the provisions of the product manual.
1) Arch foundation brick construction: according to the design requirements, ceramic fiber is provided under the expansion joint under the tailstock ring. At the position above the bracket ring and the arch brick ring, the pressure-resistant silicon fiber board is bonded to the steel shell. To ensure a good bonding, the aluminum silicate fiberboard is slightly wetted. Then, the support bricks of the arch foundation bricks are laid on the supports. During the masonry process, check the level alignment of the supporting ring with a level, and then prefabricate the sealing ring of the brick masonry according to the requirements of the drawing. However, it must be considered to set a 2mm wide slip joint with oiled paper between the ring and the support ring.
Plaster mortar on the surface of the support brick, place the arch foundation brick on the support brick, and fix it with a rubber hammer. The bricks are slightly tilted back.
If the construction of the cylindrical brick masonry is not completed at the beginning of the construction of the vault, a relatively thick adhesive auxiliary material can be applied to the front end, so that the arch foundation brick is slightly inclined. Check the position of each brick with a level. The inner edge of the brick should be adjusted according to the corresponding inner diameter marked on the drawing. Minor unevenness can be compensated for by gluing auxiliary material joints. If there is a large deviation from the original size, the correct fireproof concrete can be used or the brick can be cut to the desired size for repair. However, the thickness of the brick should be at least 70% of the original thickness. After the bricks of the arch foundation are built, they must be fixed to prevent tilting.

2) Top brick construction: according to the direction of the arch brick masonry irregular top brick ring, in strict accordance with the drawing marked special-shaped brick mix ratio of each circle. The average thickness of the mortar joints must be 2 mm, and special hardeners must be added to the bonding auxiliary materials of the masonry vault bricks. When laying bricks in both directions, the next circle of bricks can be laid on the hardened part of the binder only after one circle has been completed. When masonry, the adhesive attachment of the upper ring of the brick must be completely hardened. If inspected with a tool, the tool tip should not be inserted into the joint of the adhesive material.
Only 4 laps of bricks can be laid per day, and unfinished irregular brick loops on the vault must be completed within the same working day.
3) Crown measurement: Check the spacing of 12 positions and the diameter of 4 positions outside the circle of each complete crown brick. Check the measurement results according to the values shown in the drawing.
Since the vault at the final dome circle is affected by gravity and may be slightly lower than the value indicated on the drawing, it needs to be considered that the bricks are slightly above the elevation position and cannot be less than the marked spacing or diameter.
4) Vault closure: After the last circle of bricks is paved, the refractory concrete upper block is poured in the center of the vault with a template. The formwork is fixed to the vault with a fixed wire, and then the top stop block is poured from the top. After the concrete hardened, the formwork was dismantled and the vault brick masonry was built from the top.
If it is a dome with a central exhaust vent, the construction of the brick masonry will continue after the last circle of bricks is closed.
